There is some lag. The only game that I really notice the input lag is Metal Gear Solid 4. All my other games like Uncharted and Killzone seem fine.
thanx for the reply. im goin to try and take my ps3 down to my local store and see if theyl let me try it with COD. iv got the money ready for the 46″ but i do a lot of gaming id be gutted if i can notice it even on game mode. great vid btw, it looks the dogs nuts

I know that it’s not an actual ratio of 25000000:1, but at the end of the day it still has among the best black levels on the market.

does the D8000 come in LED version?
my picture quality is a bit grainy when i watch blu ray dvd (ps3) on my samsung ue55d8000. i dont know why. picture quality should be perfect on this tv. does it matter wat hdmi cable you use. ive got the standard amazon hdmi cable 1.4. however the salesmen at comet recommended me to buy the monster hdmi cable which is a lot dearer. i was told by a mate that both do the same job. im not sure what to do. do hdmi cables make a difference?
